Phylli Phlops & Charleston Lawn and Gardens

Phyllis Sheffer is a former owner of one of the largest Food Brokerage Companies in the country.  Phyllis also worked for 17 years as an Account Executive with The Pillsbury Company where she managed a sales team, implemented category management plans,  efficient assortment and unsaleable policies.  Phyllis was also responsible for over 20.3 million in annual sales.

Phyllis was the Education Manager for The Pepsi Bottling Group and was responsible for creating and presenting contracts for Healthy Refreshment Beverages in schools K-12 and Universities including The University of Tennessee, and East Tennessee State University.  Phyllis is currently the Co-Owner of Phylli Phlops "Baby's First Flip Flops", and Sales Manager for Charleston Lawn and Gardens.  Phyllis is an avid hiker (climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, and Base Camp Everest),  enjoys biking, scuba diving and has a Second Degree Black Belt. She is a widow and has one son Jason Bell.




patePat Eardley, Vice President

Pat Eardley has over 16 years of experience as a recruiter, trainer, and executive. Pat has a diverse background, having industry experience in retail, telecommunications, hospitality and manufacturing. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and has served as a past Vice President.
Prior to becoming an advisor, Pat held the Assistant Director role at Wild Dunes Resort in South Carolina overseeing recruitment, benefits, employee relations, management development and compliance. Pat previously lived in Virginia and was the Director of Human Resources for The Founders Inn and Conference Center where she created and facilitated training and development programs. She has also created other human resources programs in such areas as executive development, succession planning, performance management and appraisals. Pat also has experience in local and international recruitment and cultural diversity.

Pat also volunteers with local shelters and nonprofit organization to assist in human resources related skills such as resume writing, interviewing skills, professional appearance and job placement.

As the Vice President, Pat will be dedicated to the growth and development of ECEW and the businesses of its members.

keliKeli McClarty - Secretary

Keli is a Mortgage Banker and has over 20 years experience in the financial industry.  She has served on leadership teams for various organizations and is looking forward to increasing membership and awareness of ECEW.









bettyjoBetty Jo Sneed – Treasurer

Betty Jo Sneed is a Financial Center Manager for First Federal in Mt. Pleasant with over 25 years of experience. First Federal is currently one of the largest Savings and Loans in the State of S.C. operating along the coast and established in 1934.

Getting involved with non-profit organizations and making a difference in someone’s life and her community has always been her passion. Serving on other boards and volunteering for such organizations as ECOMC, Chamber of Commerce, United Way and more.

Betty Jo was born and raised in Manning, SC moving to Mt. Pleasant in 1985 where she and her family now call home!

In her free time Betty Jo enjoys WARM weather vacations, boating and her grandchildren.

Linda and four other partners brought the first Keller Williams real estate franchise to the Charleston area in April 2005. Today they have three offices (Mt Pleasant, West Ashley and North Charleston, two business centers and 300 active agents. She has lived in the tri-county area since 1971 and been “Opening Doors” for families in the Charleston area for over 23 years. Linda is the current Charleston Trident Association of Realtors Multiple Listing President and well as a State Director for the South Carolina Realtors.
Volunteering has been a natural part of her life from a term as PTA President to chairing the House Tour committee for her church women’s group as well as numerous community organizations including the Junior League of Charleston.

She (aka LuLu) is the proud mother of two daughters who live locally and three “extraordinary” grandchildren. In her free time Linda enjoys time at the gym, gardening, movies and “shopping.”

Christie Hodge

Christie Hodge, Micro Loan Program

Christie Hodge is the Owner of CMH Accounting & Tax Services, LLC, started in 2006, specializing in small business bookkeeping, tax planning and preparation, as well as, individual tax preparation. She is also a Financial Advisor for 360 Financial Partners.
Christie was born in Charleston and raised in Mt Pleasant. She attended Bishop England High School and then went on to the University of South Carolina, Darla Moore School of Business in Columbia where she double majored in Management and Finance. Christie also attended the Universal Accounting School where she achieved her Professional Bookkeeper and Tax preparer designations. Christie has her General Securities Representative, Series 7, License and Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License. Prior to this, she was employed by Merrill Lynch for 4 years as a Client Associate.
Christie currently lives in Mt. Pleasant and runs her business from home. All of her free time is spent with her 2 year old son, Jackson, husband, Kip, family and friends.
